Kale Smoothie

A nutritious blended drink made with kale, fruits, and a liquid base like water, juice, or milk, often enhanced with ingredients like nuts, seeds, or yogurt.

Instructions

  1. Add the chopped kale leaves to a blender, followed by the sliced banana and almond milk.
  2. Add the frozen mango chunks, almond butter, and chia seeds to the blender.
  3. Add honey or maple syrup, if using, for added sweetness, along with the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour in water to help the blending process, starting with 1/4 cup (60ml) and adding more if needed.
  5. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy, adding more water if necessary to reach your desired consistency.
  6. If you prefer a colder smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
  7. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or thickness by adding more honey or water, if desired.
  8. Once blended to your satisfaction, pour the smoothie into glasses.
  9. Serve immediately as a refreshing breakfast or snack.
