Honey mustard chicken

A flavorful dish featuring tender chicken coated in a tangy and sweet honey mustard sauce, often served with vegetables or rice.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Pour the honey mustard mixture over the chicken, making sure they are fully coated.
  4. Sprinkle chopped rosemary over the chicken for added flavor.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes at the end to caramelize the top and give it a nice golden color.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  10. Serve with steamed vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
