Honey mustard chicken
A flavorful dish featuring tender chicken coated in a tangy and sweet honey mustard sauce, often served with vegetables or rice.
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Pour the honey mustard mixture over the chicken, making sure they are fully coated.
- Sprinkle chopped rosemary over the chicken for added flavor.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes at the end to caramelize the top and give it a nice golden color.
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
- Serve with steamed vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
