Chicken Alfredo

A creamy pasta dish made with fettuccine, tender chicken, and a rich Alfredo sauce of butter, cream, and Parmesan cheese.

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and let it cook for 3-4 minutes to thicken slightly.
  5. Reduce the heat to low, and gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat it in the Alfredo sauce.
  7. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to combine with the sauce and chicken until everything is well coated.
  8. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
