Branzino al Forno
A Mediterranean dish featuring whole roasted sea bass seasoned with olive oil, garlic, herbs, and lemon, baked to tender perfection.
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the branzino under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Score the skin lightly on both sides of each fish.
- Rub the branzino inside and out with olive oil, then season generously with salt and black pepper.
- Stuff each fish cavity with sliced garlic, lemon slices, parsley, and thyme or rosemary.
- Place the stuffed fish on a large baking dish or sheet pan.
- Pour the white wine around the fish in the baking dish to keep them moist during baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the fish from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Transfer the cooked branzino to a serving platter. Garnish with additional fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
