- Sift in the cocoa powder and mix until fully incorporated, ensuring there are no lumps.
- Gradually fold the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in the chopped pecans and chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into squares.
