Maple-glazed salmon
A flavorful dish featuring salmon glazed with a sweet and savory maple sauce, often complemented by hints of soy, garlic, and mustard.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly oil it.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Brush each fillet generously with the maple glaze.
- Let the salmon marinate for 10-15 minutes at room temperature to allow the flavors to infuse.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon fillets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- For a caramelized finish, broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Transfer the salmon to serving plates and drizzle with any remaining glaze from the baking sheet.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
