Maple-glazed salmon

A flavorful dish featuring salmon glazed with a sweet and savory maple sauce, often complemented by hints of soy, garlic, and mustard.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly oil it.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Brush each fillet generously with the maple glaze.
  4. Let the salmon marinate for 10-15 minutes at room temperature to allow the flavors to infuse.
  5. Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon fillets.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. For a caramelized finish, broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  8. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  9. Transfer the salmon to serving plates and drizzle with any remaining glaze from the baking sheet.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
