ginger chicken

A flavorful dish featuring tender chicken cooked with ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and aromatic spices, often served with rice or noodles.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken pieces with soy sauce, rice wine, and oyster sauce. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add ginger and garlic to the hot oil, stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Increase heat to high and add marinated chicken to the wok, stirring continuously for 4-5 minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  5. Add the sliced red bell pepper to the wok, and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the pepper is tender but still crisp.
  6. Pour in sesame oil and sprinkle with sugar, stir well to combine all ingredients.
  7. Add chopped green onions, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Stir-fry for another minute to blend the flavors.
  9. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish.
